EXPLORE OUR CLASSES & GROUPS
Support for every season.
From pregnancy through the toddler years, our classes and groups create space to learn, connect, ask questions, and build community.
Nourished Littles
A supportive, low-pressure postpartum group for parents and their babies, roughly newborn through 12 months.
This space is about you as much as your baby — a place to land each week, connect with other parents, and talk through the real postpartum stuff that doesn't always fit into a medical visit.
Each session is facilitated by an RN, IBCLC and offers gentle guidance around postpartum recovery, emotional adjustment, newborn behavior, feeding questions as they come up, sleep transitions, returning to work, and the constant “is this normal?” moments of early parenthood. Come as you are, feed your baby however you need to, and spend time connecting with other parents who are navigating this season alongside you.
Toddler Lunch Bunch
A relaxed community group for toddlers ages 12–36 months and their caregivers.
Toddler Lunch Bunch is all about friendship, connection, and creating a village together.
- Enjoy activities and connection with other parents and caregivers.
- Give little ones space to play, make friends, and build social skills.
- Bring your own lunch and settle in — some snacks will also be available.
Come for the whole two hours or simply stay for the part that works for your family's day.
Nourished Roots
A Pregnancy-to-Parenthood Community Cohort
Your village starts here.
Preparing for a baby is about so much more than learning how to feed, swaddle, or soothe a newborn. It's about becoming parents, navigating one of life's biggest transitions, and building the confidence and community you'll lean on long after your baby arrives.
Nourished Roots is a four-week, in-person community cohort designed for expectant parents who want more than a traditional prenatal class. Through evidence-based education, meaningful conversation, and genuine connection, you'll gain practical knowledge while building relationships with other families preparing for parenthood alongside you.
Because the truth is, you don't just need information during pregnancy. You need people.

Why We Created Nourished Roots
Today's parents have more information than ever before, yet many still enter parenthood feeling isolated and overwhelmed. While clinical care is essential, community care is just as important.
Nourished Roots was created to bridge that gap by offering a welcoming space where parents can ask honest questions, share real experiences, build confidence, and create lasting connections before their babies arrive.
What You'll Experience
- Practical preparation for postpartum and the transition to parenthood
- Honest conversations about the emotional realities of becoming parents
- Time to ask questions in a supportive, judgment-free environment
- Connection with families expecting babies around the same time
- Evidence-based education from experienced perinatal professionals
- Introductions to trusted local resources and professionals
Who Is This For?
First-time parents, growing families, partners and support people, and families planning to breastfeed, formula feed, pump, combination feed, or who are still deciding.
No matter your birth preferences, feeding goals, or parenting style, you are welcome here.
Nourished Connections
Infant Massage for Comfort & Connection
A welcoming, hands-on infant massage class for babies from birth through 9 months who are not yet crawling.
During this 90-minute class, caregivers learn a gentle, head-to-toe massage routine that can be practiced at home to support connection, comfort, relaxation, and responsive caregiving.
What you'll learn +
- How to recognize when your baby is ready for touch
- Consent-based touch and infant engagement cues
- Massage safety and oil selection
- Gentle techniques for the face, head, chest, belly, arms, hands, legs, feet, and back
- Calming holds and ways to adapt massage to your baby's needs
- A shorter routine for days when a full massage isn't realistic
This is a baby-led class. You are welcome to feed, change, hold, or comfort your baby at any time. If your baby sleeps or isn't ready to participate, you can observe the demonstration and practice the routine at home.
Please bring a blanket for your baby to lie on while we work on the floor, along with anything you typically need to keep your baby comfortable.
We want this class to be accessible to families who would benefit from attending. A limited number of complimentary spots are available for families who need financial assistance. Please contact Nourished Lactation Care to request a spot. No detailed explanation is required.
Milk & Motion
Infant Massage for Better Feeding
Gentle touch. Intentional movement. Feeding-focused support.
Milk & Motion is a 90-minute, hands-on infant massage class designed to teach caregivers a short, targeted massage routine focused on comfort and movement patterns relevant to feeding.
Rather than teaching a full head-to-toe massage routine, this class focuses specifically on areas of the body that may influence how comfortably a baby moves, positions, and participates during feeding.
What you'll learn +
- How to recognize when your baby is receptive to touch and when to pause
- Safe positioning, pressure, and consent-based touch
- A targeted massage routine demonstrated step-by-step
- Techniques you can comfortably incorporate into everyday life
- How to shorten or modify the routine based on your baby's cues
- How to practice briefly throughout the day when baby is calm and receptive
- When feeding concerns may benefit from individualized lactation assessment and support
The class includes instructor demonstration, guided caregiver practice, individualized feedback, and time for questions.
You do not need to attend Nourished Connections first. Nourished Connections teaches a complete infant massage routine for comfort, connection, and responsive caregiving. Milk & Motion is a separate, feeding-focused class built around a shorter, more targeted routine.
We want this class to be accessible to families who would benefit from attending. A limited number of complimentary spots are available for families who need financial assistance. Please contact Nourished Lactation Care to request a spot. No detailed explanation is required.
Infant massage classes provide general caregiver education and do not replace individualized medical, developmental, or feeding care.
